It’s been a long while, but we’re finally back on the air! We’ll spare you the nitty gritty as to what happened. Let’s just say there was no red tape involved, it was purely technical. We’ve got some exciting developments coming up at Coffs Harbour Geek Radio. A new website, new producers, DJs, shows, and lots more! Coffs Harbour Geek Radio is becoming ‘CHGRadio’  and when we’re done, you’re going to love it! So stay tuned while we finish things up and bring you the best commercial free youth radio station you ever listened to!

Much exciting Academy Is… news today.  William Beckett recently admitted to finally beginning writing for their fourth album.  After a brutal media bashing of Fast Times at Barrington High, there should be pressure to create a new direction.  Let’s pray it is not as drastic as Panic! at the Disco.

To the lesser known member of The Academy Is… Andrew Mrotek has posted two new songs for free download on the bandcamp site of his side project, The Animal Upstairs.  And they are great.
